The 4th edition of the Asia Pacific Guidelines (APGG) was formulated through close collaboration and collective expertise of glaucoma specialists from across the region, and subsequently reviewed by an international panel of content experts. It was created with the Asia-Pacific community in mind with its diverse patient population, disease presentation, health care system and access to clinical resources. APGG 4th ed. contains updates based on best available evidence, and expert consensus where definite evidence was not available. It provides concise and practical approach to the diagnosis and management of glaucoma that can aid in dealing with this condition in a rapidly changing medical and socio-economic environment.
